Interface and supply, by model
What you actually have to wire: interface class, the manufacturer's own wording, supply and mass for every model that publishes them. Use it to cut a shortlist before you ask for protocol documents.

How to read it
- UART-TTL is the default on 905 nm modules: short cable runs, 115200 baud is typical, often with a discrete power-on line. It does not survive a noisy vehicle harness over a metre.
- RS-422 is what the long-range 1535 nm modules use: differential, tolerant of long cable and inrush. It needs a transceiver on your board — not plug-and-play with a 3.3 V MCU.
- UART + RS-422 means the module has both options; confirm which one your order is built with, because the connector changes.
- Supply is the documented entry, not the peak current. 1535 nm modules pump a rod: expect inrush several times the average.
Where the manufacturer does not publish an interface, this table says so rather
than guessing. Before you design a harness, ask for the protocol document — checksum, byte order and
error codes are not in any marketing page.
